Site health
Technical faults that stop engines reading and quoting your site.
Every issue here is something that makes your site harder to read for a crawler or an assistant. They are ordered by how much they cost you, not by how easy they are to fix.
What is checked#
| Area | Examples |
|---|---|
| Crawlability | Blocked pages, broken links, redirect chains, missing sitemap |
| Structured data | Missing or malformed schema, no FAQ or article markup |
| Metadata | Duplicate titles, missing or truncated descriptions |
| Content | Thin pages, duplicated pages, orphaned pages nothing links to |
| Performance | Slow pages, layout shift, oversized images |
| Mobile | Unusable layouts, tap targets, viewport problems |
Priorities#
- Critical — something is invisible to engines. Fix today.
- High — measurably costing you traffic or citations.
- Medium — worth doing in the next sprint.
- Low — polish.
Schema is the one worth doing first
Structured data is how you hand an engine a parsed answer instead of hoping it infers one. Citeca adds it to every article it publishes; existing pages need it adding once, and the payoff is immediate.
Who fixes these#
Anything on an article Citeca published is handled for you. Issues on the rest of your site — your homepage, product pages, theme — need you or your developer, and each item says exactly what to change and why it matters.
